About Alexana
Alexana aka Alexandra Berlinere is a multidisciplinary artist working across visual and audiovisual media, including fluorescent painting, immersive environments, upcycling art, and costume design.
Her practice merges symbolic abstraction, avant-garde aesthetics and dual perception. She likes to experiment and merge different styles and textures together.
Her practice merges symbolic abstraction, avant-garde aesthetics, and the exploration of dual perception. She experiments with layered textures and hybrid techniques, creating works that shift between daylight and ultraviolet illumination.
Using light, color and form, she creates immersive visual experiences that shift between daylight and ultraviolet perception.
Her work explores the infinity of the universe, and the depth of the human psyche, and the interconnectedness between people, animals, and nature.
